Refund Policy

1. Overview

At G-Champ Abacus & Brain Gym, we strive to provide the best educational experience for all our students. We understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel or discontinue a program. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Course Fee Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation request is made:

2.2 Registration/Admission Fee

2.3 Study Materials

• If study materials have been issued, their cost will be deducted from the refund
• Unopened/unused materials in original condition may be returned for full credit
• Digital materials and online access once provided are non-refundable

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following fees and payments are non-refundable:

• Registration and admission fees
• Competition registration fees
• Certification and examination fees
• Special event and workshop fees (unless cancelled by G-Champ)
• Issued study materials and books
• Uniform and merchandise purchases
• Late payment penalties

4. Special Circumstances

4.1 Medical Emergencies

In case of serious medical emergencies that prevent continued attendance:

• A medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner is required
• Refund or course credit may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Maximum refund of 50% of remaining course fee may be provided
• Alternatively, course can be transferred to a sibling or deferred to a later batch

4.2 Relocation

If your family relocates to a different city:

• Proof of relocation (e.g., transfer letter, new address proof) is required
• If a G-Champ center exists in the new location, we will facilitate transfer at no extra cost
• If no center is available, a prorated refund (minus materials) may be considered

Please provide the following documents when requesting a refund:

• Written application/email requesting refund
• Original fee receipt or payment confirmation
• Student ID card (if issued)
• Bank account details for refund transfer
• Supporting documents (medical certificate, relocation proof, etc. if applicable)

7. Course Transfer & Deferment

7.1 Transfer to Another Student

• Course enrollment may be transferred to an immediate family member (sibling) at no extra charge
• Transfer to non-family members may incur a 15% transfer fee
• Transfer must be requested before the halfway point of the course

7.2 Batch Deferment

• Students may defer their enrollment to a future batch (within 6 months)
• One deferment allowed per enrollment at no extra charge
• Subsequent deferments may incur a 10% fee
• Subject to availability in the desired batch

8. Franchise Fees

For franchise partners, the following refund terms apply:

• Franchise Fee: Non-refundable once the franchise agreement is signed
• Training Fee: Non-refundable once training has commenced
• Startup Kit: Non-refundable once dispatched
• Royalty Fees: Non-refundable for the period already covered

9. Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision:

1. First, discuss with your center manager for clarification
2. If unresolved, escalate to our customer support team via email
3. Final escalation can be made to the G-Champ head office
4. All decisions by the head office are final and binding

10. Policy Changes

G-Champ reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. The policy applicable at the time of your enrollment will govern your refund request.
